Life After Cancer

Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't written in a while. I've been busy working on this video. I know there are a few problems with it. A)lighting was horrible so I had to filter it to make it visible and it ended up really hazy. B)there are some weird clips at the beginning and end that weren't supposed to be in there.
But even with those few problems I think the story really came through well.
Let me know what you think.

  1. Nice video, Kanani. I think you overcame your technical difficulties by making good compromises. It's quite a story that Ben has to tell. I'd like to know how his life has changed, and what he has learned from the experience.

  2. Very well done Kanani. Thank you for doing this. One of the things that stick with me was that we didn't think of it as "Ben's" cancer, it was "Our" cancer metaphysically. There were times when I was up north on the Bering Sea and I could see Ben as clearly as if he was right next to me. I know that to a person steeped in the rational it doesn't seem quite sane, but it was real. The connections the human heart knows can transcend time and distance.
    Thank you doing this.
